APPENZELLER SPITZHAUBENS

We offer Appenzeller Spitzhauben chickens in both silver spangled and gold spangled varieties. These rare and striking birds are known for their unique appearance, with their spangled plumage and signature forward-swept crests. Appenzellers are hardy, active foragers and make a great addition to any flock with their inquisitive and independent nature.

We have fertile eggs, young unsexed chickens, and breeding trios available for sale this season. There is a waitlist and due to their popularity, a holding deposit is required to secure your chickens, with the balance due prior to pickup.

BLACK SUMATRAS

We offer Black Sumatra chickens, a rare and exotic heritage breed admired for their long, flowing tail feathers, glossy black plumage with a shimmering green sheen, and slim, elegant build. Known for their spirited nature and striking appearance, Black Sumatras are active, hardy birds that thrive when given space to free-range, making them a unique addition to any flock.

BACKYARD RAINBOW LAYERS

Our Backyard Rainbow Layer chickens are a colourful mix of Cream Legbar, Araucana, Olive Eggers, Easter Eggers, Light Sussex, Frizzles, and the occasional Appenzeller influence. These lively hens bring character and variety to any flock, producing eggs in shades of blue, green, olive, cream, and brown. Collecting a rainbow egg basket each day is part of the joy of keeping them.
